I would like a catalogue
If you're new to Kingdom Teak, then first you must Apply for a Trade Account.
If you're an existing customer requiring new catalogues you can either request them over the phone, or send us an email via [email protected]
How do I apply for an account?
Complete the form on our website - Apply for a Trade Account.
What happens next?
We do a number of checks to establish the validity of your business and that all goods purchased on the account will be used in a commercial environment.
What sort of checks do you do?
- Business location to assess the proximity to any current established customers and that the road access to the property is suitable for a 45ft articulated vehicle. We do not deliver to residential addresses.
- We validate your company registration with Companies House and VAT registration number via the internet.
- We look at your website to view the product content, style and layout of the site to check that our products fit with your existing product offering, plus the contact details displayed for your customers. We also look at any feedback from your customers to see the level of customer service you achieve.
- We check your premises and location via Google Street View.
Do you have a minimum spend?
Yes. The minimum spend for the first order is £1,500 for garden accessories, £3,000 for furniture, and £5,000 for gazebos but there is no minimum spend thereafter.
Can you deliver my orders?
Your first delivery is free but all subsequent orders are chargeable depending on the location and size of the order. We do not drop ship.
Can I collect my orders?
Yes, you can arrange to collect your order from our Warehouse. We just need 24 hours notice so that the order can be picked up and ready for you when you arrive.
Do you offer credit terms?
All orders are on a pro forma basis until a relationship has been established and any future credit is payable within 30 days. Credit checks and/or references will be required for accounts with credit.
What do you need from me?
If we still require further clarification once we have done all of the above checks, we may ask you to provide copies of your current purchase invoices. If you are a Property Developer you would need to provide evidence of your property portfolio, consisting of current and past projects. For Interior Designers we may ask for evidence of previous and current projects plus invoices to show you currently buy in wholesale quantities.
Why do you need to do all these application checks?
We uphold the principles of a responsible wholesaler which means we must take every reasonable step to maintain the supply chain and ensure we do not impinge on the business of our retailers.
Do you supply Internet only companies?
We have a limited selection of specialist Internet only companies who work very closely with us to positively promote and sell Kingdom Teak products. We do welcome applications from Web only companies but we apply quite a detailed and exacting selection criterion to ensure the presentation, product offering and marketing of the site compliments rather than detract or diminish our existing sector offering.
Can I return faulty items?
Yes, if you have goods that are damaged you must let us know via our returns form with 72 hours of receiving your order. Please keep all goods in the original packaging and they will be uplifted at the time of your next delivery. The items will be QC inspected once they arrive back at our warehouse and a credit will be issued to your account once the details of the damage has been verified. However, we do not take responsibility for any goods transported via third party carrier.
I have seen a product but it no longer seems to be in stock?
We understand how frustrating it is when you have your heart set on a particular item but when you go to purchase you are informed that the item is out of stock. Unfortunately our furniture moves quickly at Kingdom Teak and our most popular products do sell out very quickly. We add new items to the website every week so if your chosen product is no longer listed you may be able to find a similar item by browsing through the categories listed at the top of the homepage.
